Event Delivery
Cliffhaven will work with event organisers across Government Departments, such as the Home Office, for Border Force and Visas, and DCMS to align delivery outcomes to support their Visitor Economy Growth Strategy. This may involve recommendations to use premium, paid for Government services if appropriate.
Support is tailored according to the profile and complexity of the Event. Factors considered would be the public profile of an event, the level of government support, the volume of overseas attendees down to small but essential events requiring support and guidance for attendees.
What do we actually do?
Cliffhaven Consulting supports organisers of major sporting, business and cultural events hosted in the UK by providing guidance on how to meet entry requirements for people, and Customs requirements for goods, helping to ensure plans and proposals are operationally deliverable, and supporting delivery once events are agreed. We can also act with you when seeking advice and guidance from Government departments and agencies where operational issues arise.

The offer depends on the event, but it can include pre-event preparation and guidance, support on bidding and guarantee letters, coordination with operational teams, facilitating arrivals and departures, so that the UK Border is not seen as an impediment to the successful running of an event.
