Kevin Mohr Managing Director
Kevin Mohr, the founder and Managing Director of Cliffhaven, has a wealth of experience having worked in the areas of Event Delivery and Crisis Planning and Management in the UK government since 2007.
Event Delivery
Events have ranged from national events such as the funeral of HM The Queen, the coronation of HM The King, international summits, such as COP26, EPC, CHOGM, State and governmental visits, major sporting events including Commonwealth Games, Cricket and Rugby World Cups, European Football Championships and other cultural events. Working with organisers ranging from UK Government departments, devolved administrations, the UN, the Commonwealth national and international sporting bodies and event organisers. Kevin has ensured that for those participating in these events, there are “no surprises” when arriving in the UK, by ensuring that they have been fully briefed on what is required for both people and goods. This includes ensuring that necessary authorities and papers are acquired before travel. Working closely with organisers, to ensure that government VIPs are expected and their arrivals and departure managed accordingly.
Crisis Management and Planning
Crises have ranged from pandemic diseases, volcanic eruptions, weather events to Terrorist attacks, overseas evacuations and international transport disruption. Working across government and with the emergency services he has developed crisis response plans and established best practice within his organisation, providing help and advice as a Subject Matter Expert during exercises in the civil service, emergency services, UK military, the EU and NATO. He has also been part of the Crisis Response Team in numerous crises, ensuring plans are activated and understood, objectives are met, records maintained and briefings and updates provided.
Jim Royan Security Consultant
Jim has proven success in collaborating with political, governmental and private partners to orchestrate world class events, including the Commonwealth Games, the Open Championship, AIG Women’s Open and the inaugural Cycling World Championships.
